THE BIRTH OF LALUTSAN

There are many young and talented artists who are exploring Tibetan design, illustration, and contemporary art on social media platforms. We are inspired by their creativity and vigor, so we started a clothing brand that represents a young generation of artistic explorations from Tibet.

The term “Lalutsan” has been derived from Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s book Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior where the author explained the three principles of lha, nyen and lu of which the world consists.

Lha refers to gods and deities;

nyen refers to friend;

lu refers to beings and spirits of the water;
